John

Lead instructor John O’Blenis has over 20 years experience as a firefighter and is currently working out of headquarters with Brampton Fire and Emergency Services.  He is the senior vehicle extrication shift instructor with 14 years in the position.  John is a six year extrication team member with three years as team Incident Commander.

Eric

Eric has spent his 10 years as a full time firefighter working on a Squad.  He has 8 years as a vehicle extrication shift instructor with his department.  Eric has acquired his NFPA 1041 Level 1 instructor and was instrumental in developing and implementing RS Rescue’s Machinery Rescue program.

Chris

Chris has spent the past 2 plus years serving as a volunteer firefighter at the north end of the GTA. Chris’ district chief, upon the suggestion of one of the station captains, has appointed Chris to be designated as Rescue Sector Officer at any confirmed vehicle extrication that he is in attendance. He is the first from the Associate Instructor program to graduate to full instructor.

James

James is currently assigned to the busiest station in his department which has a pumper and a squad. He has 15 years working in a squad hall as a full time firefighter. He also boasts 2 years military service in the Navy.

Jeff

Jeff is a graduate of the Ontario Fire Academys NFPA 1001 Level I & II program. Hired with Brampton Fire in 2018 and is currently working at fire station 202 on Bramptons Technical Rescue Team. Formally worked for an outdoor company running climbing, caving, and high rope actives.  

Andrew Brassard

 
Andrew is a full time firefighter for the Milton Fire Department and a volunteer firefighter in Centre Wellington Fire Department. He is an instructor for the Fire Department Training Network in Indianapolis, Indiana and is also an instructor for Take The Door Training in Syracuse, NY.  He has taught both lecture and hands on at FDIC, Firehouse EXPO, Bowling Green Fire School, HROC, and the Orlando Fire Conference.  Andrew has a passion for the fire service and is a life long student of the job.  In his spare time he likes to weld, hunt, fish, and spend time with his family.
